Transfer of heat from the absorber plate (collector) is via an efficient and very fast heat conductor, the
"heat-pipe".

 

Transfer of heat from the absorber plate (collector) is via an efficient and very fast heat conductor, the "heat-pipe". Heat Pipe has a very low heat capacity but an exceptionally rapid conductivity. The "heat-pipe" also provides the system with a diode function. Due to the physical properties of the "heat-pipe". the maximum working temperature of the system is controlled.
